Purity in faith

A mother wanted to know how one of her children managed to get out of his cradle so she put a camera in the bedroom. The mother thought that one of the brothers of the baby was helping him, but after watching the video, she saw that the baby would do it on his own while his brother would just look at him.

Wath this video and then read this post!

If we bring this example to our days, we´ll see that this baby is like a lot of people that, nowadays, go to church and that have a pure faith, I mean, they only think about positive things. Even if there are difficulties or a chance for things not to turn out right, he/she throws himself, takes the risk to get what he/she wants, this person does not think about negative things and knows what he/she wants; he/she is willing to put everythings he/she owns in God´s hands.

People like these take an attitude because they know that the God who was with Abraham is with them too and won´t let them down.

When Abraham heard God´s voice telling him to sacrifice, he heard that voice with a pure faith, he was only thinking about the positive consequences of that sacrifice, and didn´t even bother thinking that something bad could happen, he thought about all the amazing things that would happen bacause of his obedience!

The other baby we saw in the video didn´t risk himself to get out of the cradle, he just watched his brother.

As an example we can mention that there are people that go to church and act the very same way that baby, they don´t take a chance and don´t sacrifice everything they´ve got to the God of Abraham; for that reason they watch others succeeding and getting what they want so htey can glorify God.

To have that pure faith God gaves us this advise:

"Look to Abraham, your father, and to Sarah, who gave you birth. When I called him he was only one man, and I blessed him and made him many." (Isaiah 51:2)

No think and answer to yourself: Who do you want to be? The one who takes the risk or the one that just seats to watch others succeed?
