If there are
promises, why there are people that have not reached them yet, what mistake are
they making? Lets meditate about what happen with Jesus and Martha to get an
answer.
Lord, Martha said to Jesus, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died. But I know that even now God will
give you whatever you ask.” John 11:21-22
In that moment
we see that Martha was not satisfied with what had happened, she was sure,
full of confidence, convinced that God would answer her request.
This a good
example to follow, so even if it seems that something is impossible to
change, if it seems that there is no solution at all for what you´re going
through, we have to be CONSTANT in our faith, convinced that all the things we
present to God through our tithes, offerings, fastings and prayers will be
answered.
Now lets see the
mistake Martha made and many people make and end up ruining theiir life.
“Take away the stone,” he
said. “But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time
there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.” John 11:39
See that the same day she said she believed, she was INCONSTANT and doubted
in God and in Jesus and for a moment stopped trusting that everything could
change just like she thought before when she didn´t care about the
difficulties.
That one is the mistake. Many people believes now but after a while, when
something bad happens, she stops being CONSTANT.
Only because of that, Jesus can stop doing something great in your life, so
pay attention:
Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you
will see the glory of God?” John 11:40
Be constant and don´t let Jesus stop working in your life to tell you that
you don´t have to desist and that you have to keep believing.
If you haven´t been inconstant, you´ve surely seen God performing a miracle
in your life.
The one that perseveres lives his faith day by day and he doesn´t care
about the situation he goes through-
