If you want
to receive the baptism with the Holy Spirit the first thing you have to do is
to put your own will aside and to want to do God´s will with all your strength.
Of
course it´s not going to be easy, because your flesh and your feelings will try
to do everything to set you apart from Him and to disconnect you from the Godly
things, they will fight to sink you in the world. But it´s up to you!
If you
want to be baptized or to renovate your baptism, you´re gonna have to feed your
spirit isolating yourself from all the things of the world, you´re going to
have to put all your strength to do the fast of Daniel; this way your flesh
will be weaken.
And when
you talk to God, don´t let the devil discourage you with any thoughts of
accusation or with other things of the world; is in that moment that you have
to seek his presence with all your strength and honesty, asking the Lord Jesus
to baptize you and in that very moment He will come upon you. Do not worry
about feeling something or to speak in tongues, just believe that the Holy
Spirit will come.
He doesn´t
reject honest prayers, all the opposite, He loves them.
